Cary, NC, November 10, 2008 – cdv Software Entertainment today announced a limited collector’s edition for the upcoming Action RPG – Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. The PC collector’s edition is available for pre-order exclusively through Amazon.com for U.S. consumers. The collector’s edition will be available in Canada through Amazon.ca, Future Shop and EB Games Canada.

This special edition of the North America retail version of the game will showcase unique packaging, and the following additional items:

• An extra DVD containing the “Elite Texture Pack,” a set of ultra-high resolution textures for users of high-end computers

Innovative option allows consumers to share copies of the game with friends and family

November 7, 2008, Cary, NC – Looking to give consumers the most flexibility with their purchases of the Windows PC version of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, cdv Software Entertainment USA and Ascaron Entertainment are pleased to announce the inclusion of an innovative “Try Before You Buy” system for their upcoming RPG game.

Using this innovative new feature, downloaded or purchased copies of the full game can be shared with friends and family, with these shared copies acting as full-featured demos for the duration of one calendar day. During the demo period the game is completely unlocked for single-player and LAN multiplayer modes. After the demo install expires the consumer has the option of purchasing the full game online, or simply uninstalling it. This, for example, allows consumers who purchased the full game in stores or via digital distribution channels, to share their game with friends, with those subsequent installs acting as time-limited “try before you buy” versions that allow gamers to enjoy almost all the features found in the full game.

September 18, 2008 – After a successful showing of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel during the Showdown LAN event in Worchester, MA, cdv Software Entertainment USA is pleased to announce their attendance at two more Showdown events. The company will be allowing gamers to enjoy Sacred 2, their upcoming action-RPG, in both single- and multiplayer cooperative modes at Showdown events in San Mateo, CA and Peoria, IL. Showdown will run from September 19-21, 2008 in San Mateo, while it will take place from September 26-28, 2008 in Peoria.

cdv Software Entertainment USA has announced that Hansi Kürsch and André Olbrich, of power metal band BLIND GUARDIAN, will be signing autographs in the Sacred 2: Fallen Angel area (Booth 5129) at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego. The band members will be available on Friday and Saturday, July 25 and 26, from 5 to 6 pm to meet fans and promote a new song written exclusively for Sacred 2: Fallen Angel.
