Gracia Part 2 adds new hunting grounds and continues significant improvements to character advancement

NCsoft the world’s premier publisher and developer of massively multiplayer online (MMO) games, today announced the release of Gracia Part 2, the newest addition to the popular Lineage® II franchise. The expansion is free to all Lineage II subscribers. Building on systems introduced in the first Gracia expansion, this update helps players advance their characters and achieve their goals faster than ever before.

Gracia Part 2 offers a variety of new challenges to players of all levels, including the Labyrinth of the Abyss, a new section of the Kamaloka hunting area.
The Labyrinth of the Abyss is a multi-tiered cavern where players in a private party battle through monsters and bosses to earn valuable rewards and experience.

This update also introduces Kratei’s Cube, where players simultaneously fight against monsters and each other for bragging rights and special items. Contests run every half hour, twenty-four hours a day. Here players work through a maze of interconnecting rooms, slaying monsters and players alike in hopes of achieving renown and glory. Kratei’s Cube is the first solo player versus player (PvP) and player versus environment (PvE) arena in Lineage II.

The popular Vitality System, which allows for faster character progression, has been enhanced with the Vitality Replenishing Herb.

Player Vs. Player Mission Wars Now Held Six Times Each Day

As the battle between Capella and Procyon rages on, OGPlanet is giving Cabal Online players more opportunities to challenge their opponents.

Mission Wars, previously held once daily, are now taking place six times each day. At each designated time, 100 level-95 or higher warriors from each nation struggle to overtake outposts controlled by massively powerful guardians, kill off the invaders from the other nation, and ultimately take control of the opposing nation’s capitol to control the battlefield.

“The Mission War is one of our most popular events in Cabal Online,” said Don Choi, OGPlanet’s COO. “Our players love the up-close and personal player vs. player action, and the pride of representing their nation in an epic battle. Now they have many more chances to challenge their opponents on the battlefield.”

Cabal Online players hoping to raise their characters’ levels high enough to join in on the Mission Wars, or those who’d like a little extra advantage in the battles, are in luck thanks to the Get Skilled event. From now until Nov. 13, players receive double experience by playing between midnight and 6 p.m. each day. Players can also receive triple experience points between 6 p.m. and midnight.

The Lineage II team is continuing to send information out about their recent update to the game, Hellbound. This diary by the North American production team talks about the fun departure that Fantasy Isle represents for the hardcore Lineage II players.
