Midway officially confirmed details and box art for the special North American Kollector’s Edition of Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. Featuring box art that was hand painted by Alex Ross, one of the world’s most pre-eminent and respected comic book artists, the Kollector’s Edition will come in special packaging and feature an exclusive removable print designed by Ross as well as bonus video content.

CHICAGO, AUGUST 6, 2008 Midway Games Inc. (NYSE: MWY), a leading interactive entertainment industry publisher and developer, today announced that top talent including, Frank Caliendo, host of Frank TV and known for his impressions of legendary football broadcaster John Madden, President George W. Bush and Al Pacino, and Hollywood A-lister and former host of Last Comic Standing, Jay Mohr, have been recruited to join Lawrence Taylor in the upcoming release of Blitz: The League® II. The voice talent and comedic skills of both Caliendo and Mohr will help bring to life the game’s fictional football league that has been created by Peter Egan, scriptwriter for ESPN’s edgy “Playmakers” series.

Superstar comedian and celebrity impersonator Caliendo showcases his comedic versatility as he is cast in three different roles including the prison warden, the offensive line coordinator and the color commentator. In contrast, Mohr, known for his critically acclaimed role in the blockbuster film, Jerry Maguire, stars as The Agent, a professional businessman looking out for his number one investment known as Franchise, the top rookie phenom. Negotiations are expected to begin and deception is scheduled to ensue on Blitz: The League II’s planned release this Fall for the Xbox 360® videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.

Midway confirmed another of the remaining unannounced wrestlers for TNA iMPACT!, the highly anticipated video game based off the fastest growing professional wrestling brand in the world and its flagship program TNA iMPACT!. Fan favorite Shark Boy, who hails from the Deep Blue Sea, was officially announced today.

To date, Midway has announced 19 wrestlers who will be featured in the game. Six more TNA superstars will be unveiled in the coming weeks. Here is a list of the confirmed roster.
