SANTA MONICA, Calif. and FREMONT, Calif., July 31, 2008 – Activision Publishing, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVID) and Logitech International (SWX: LOGN) (Nasdaq: LOGI) today announced a collaboration to develop and market premium instrument controllers for Guitar Hero(R) World Tour, the latest installment of the world’s best-selling music-based video game franchise, which ships this fall for the Xbox 360(TM) video game system from Microsoft, PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment system and Nintendo Wii(TM).
Logitech plans to offer premium instruments for each of these platforms, the first of which will be available later this year. Logitech’s products will be compatible with Guitar Hero World Tour’s advanced feature set, allowing players to elevate their Guitar Hero(R) jam sessions to full-fledged rock concerts.
“Logitech is the leading producer of peripheral devices and the company is widely considered to be the gold standard for innovation and quality peripheral products,” said Charles Huang, vice president business development for RedOctane. “With Logitech, we know we have found the right partner who can deliver top-quality premium hardware that consumers have come to expect from Guitar Hero.”

Guitar Hero World Tour is being developed by Neversoft Entertainment for the Xbox 360(R) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PLAYSTATION(R)3 computer entertainment system. The Wii(TM) version is being developed by Vicarious Visions. The PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system version is being developed by Budcat. The game is not yet rated by the ESRB. SANTA MONICA, Calif., Jul 09, 2008 — Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) today unveiled a new consumer initiative to expand the company’s Wii portfolio this Fall. Dubbed “Wee 1ST”, the brand highlights the company’s games that were developed specifically with the Wii in mind.
“The Wii is introducing new audiences to gaming,” said Dave Oxford, Activision Publishing. “Clearly, the Wii’s accessible controls are changing how the audience plays games and how we look at game design. This initiative is designed to showcase games that take full advantage of the Wii’s capabilities.”
With the Wii on track to be the leading platform by Christmas, the company’s move to expand its offering has been in the works for more than a year. The first titles under the “Wee 1ST” brand include Little League(R) World Series 2008, Rapala(R) Fishing Frenzy and Dancing with the Stars(TM): Get Your Dance On. More games will be announced in the upcoming weeks, all of which will hit shelves this holiday season.
The “Wee 1ST” brand is supported by a national television and print advertising campaign scheduled to kick off this fall. New branding is featured on the front of all boxes and at retail locations nationwide.

Activision, Inc. and Treyarch, announced that they will be taking Call of Duty players deep into the South Pacific and European theaters this fall for Call of Duty: World at War(tm), a gritty fight that will pit players against enemies that know no surrender and show no mercy. Utilizing the Call of Duty 4(r): Modern Warfare engine, Call of Duty: World at War throws out the rulebook of war to transform WWII combat through a new enemy, new tactics and an uncensored experience of the climatic battles that gripped a generation. As U.S. Marines and Russian soldiers, players will employ new features like cooperative gameplay, and weapons such as the flamethrower in the most chaotic and cinematically intense experience to date.
