  2. My maybe not epic..but happiest moment was being able to purchase all the video games that my husband and son wanted for Christmas. I am glad that I bought the right games for the right system as well. We have a Wii, a DS, A PSP, a PS3 and PS2. Yes, we love video games.
Thanks for the chance in the contest!!

  3. No really epic gaming experiences. The most epic in 2009 was probably when I first completely cleared an entire level in Peggle.

  4. Mine would be Resident Evil 5’s final boss fight with Wesker part 2 after crashing in the middle of a volcano.

I played the game with an AI partner(annoying) all the way through and I was hurrying to finish the game because it was a 5 day rental. I made it to the Final Boss the fifth night after playing off & on through the week & I didn’t exactly pick up or conserve my ammo so once I made it to the final boss I didn’t exactly have fire power to finish him but I had the crates of ammo the game gave you by default.

I tried several different scenarios & I always ran out of bullets but I knew I was close to finishing him so I kept playing but no success I finally just get pissed and I run up & knife the bastard, “Bam” he goes down with a single knife swipe, LOL, Game Over, I win! ;)

  5. Timothy Olthouse says:

I think the most epic gaming moment of 2009 for me was the entirety of Uncharted 2. OVERALL it was the most enjoyable gaming experience for me in a long time.

  6. Epic gaming memory of 2009: Star Ocean 4, which we’d been waiting for, well, forever, since we started Star Ocean 2 on the PS1!!

  7. My son calls me a ‘old person’ gamer because I like the WII and those games and not REAL games like he plays LOL I personally enjoy Jillian Michaels Biggest Loser for WII more than any game !!

  8. Most Epic gaming memory of 2009? Me and a friend of mine did a marathon of every Halo game to date. Halo 1 through ODST including Halo Wars. It was awesome and streamed online!

  9. Epic moment…Getting Platinum in Resident Evil 5

  10. BigBadBob says:

Most Epic Moment : Getting Biggest Loser, and losing 23 lbs. !!

  11. Getting EASports Active and getting fit!

  12. Epic gaming moment.. damn, probably every night I played Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare! 2009 was dedicated to that game and I made a lot of good new friends on XBL because of it. My 22 kill streak, ~1.63ish kill to death ratio (I can’t remember exactly), EPIC private room knife battles… everything.

    @xriyah ;)

  13. My most epic gaming memory of 2009 was while playing COD:Modern Warefare online:

I was gaming with friends and running the room one particular night, which I had played the game for a while(since the beta + over a year of the full version) and there was an older guy cursing me(I’m 29) after each match because I was doing so well, saying all kinds of negative stuff but I never reply back.

After we leave the room I get a private message from him saying “I’ll play you on 1vs1 & that he was a pro Halo player and that I should “gooogle” his gamertag, blah, blah, blah”.

Well I didn’t reply back but how I handled it was by checking his friends list & sending a friends request to a player who hadn’t been on in a while but who has their friends list open to everyone. I send a request and by doing so I was able to find & join him in games in progress on COD:MW

I’d catch the guy playing on COD:MW and I would jump into his room and tear his butt up everytime LOL. After about 3 straight days of this he finally had enough. We were playing on BOG and I was purposely sniping him from a distance just to make him mad. At the end of the match I was 17-0,and I’m sitting in the back of our spawn. All of a sudden I turn, and there he was a foot away running up and getting ready too knife me but I fired a no scope head shot and it was the final kill of the match LOL.

Within a few minutes I get a message from him. I’m automatically think he’s going to be rude but to my surprise the message is along the lines of “Okay man I’m sorry for being a dick, I give up” LMAO

I delete the friends request and I never joined or played him in room again :)

  14. Most epic gaming moment:

25 and 0 in MW2, nothing beats wrecking the other team to the point that people start quitting.

  15. Solving the Princess in a Box 1 puzzle in Professor Layton’s & the Curious Village. Epic for me anyway lol

  16. connie black says:

I myslef am not a gamer, but my children are. Their biggest moment in 2009 gaming was def. getting the Modern Warfare 2 game!!

  17. My favourite gaming moment in 2009 bar none was in Batman: Arkham Asylum when SPOILER ALERT the screen glitches and you think for a moment that your machine has locked up.

  18. Mark Rozen says:

My favorite gaming memory of 2009 is easily Killzone 2’s online multiplayer. The graphics and gameplay were simply amazing!

  19. Alan Laker says:

My most epic game memory of last year has to be Modern Warfare 2. Its online was amazing and its campaign wasn’t too bad either. *SPOILERS* The most epic moment was grabbing that knife and throwing into that Shepard’s face!

  20. Finishing *every* puzzle in Professor Layton & the Curious Village w/o using any hint coins or looking up any solutions online. No assistance whatsoever.

  21. Spent NYE playing the new Mario on the Wii, 4 person. So much fun!

  22. retweeted&subscribed

  23. Congratulations to the four lucky winners!!

And, even tho I didn’t win, at least JayRock is in there representin’ MD. ;-)
