I have seen this same kind of adapter go for as low as $20 on the west coast at Frys. Not sure this is such a great deal.
Max Resolution @ 32bit color = 1024×768 (WS = 1440 x 900)
Max Resolution @ 16bit color = 1600×1200 (WS = 1680 x 1050)
